The puppy in question being the mood swings I am riding on this orbit of the unemployed. Under the covers, into the woods and today, up the ladder...the one pictured both wondrous and terrifying and one of the highlights of my last trip to South Africa several years ago.
Ketzel--I --just this holiday season-- realized that I am finally recovered fully from my mid-2005 layoff. Emotionally, that is. Financially will take longer. There were indeed many ups and downs along the way and I imagine that will continue as well. Hang in there! Jacquedd@gmail.com
Unemployment I have handled reasonalbly well primarily because I was nearing retirement anyway and my husband has a great pension. But that ladder? I couldn't do that!

ReplyDeleteJacqueline - THREE YEARS? Oy.
ReplyDeleteKatney - I find terrifying heights infinitely less scarier than relationships.
And my dear Stefe - who's the "them" you're trying to get your check from?
