Tonight my new friend N'Jeri Eaton at UC Berkeley's Knight Media Center helped me put together a map of my upcoming Turkey trip. Never mind that you didn't ask for it or that it's a little lacking in pizzazz, it's a blazing beginning to my new multi-media career.

I am so jealous. Where will most of the botanizing happen? (Because there are so many historic references and animal stuff mentioned.) And will you be able to keep the blog updated as you go, or will we wait till you return?
I'm not counting on having internet access for most of the trip. Sorry to say, Katney, the botanizing should be non-stop!
BTW, I was just told about a little gadget I can synch with my camera and keep precise GPS info about where all my flower pix came from.
That means I can post the pix on the map w/the correct location..only a few decades behind U.S. surveillance and military technology.
Cool! High marks for student-you.
i'm also very jealous. But it will be very fun to view/hear your reports when they do appear.
I still drool with desire to go on this trip. It is unfortunate that I can't go. I look forward to your trip descriptions and pics when you get back.
