Another holy week of wildflower hikes in the Columbia Gorge, among several, The
Tom McCall Nature Preserve.
That unfamiliar great orb in the sky has now brought out the fair weather hikers (yes, I have an attitude, I'm so used to having solitude out there), so an 8am start up the gentle incline is way too late. On the other hand, it did give the field penstemon time to pop.

And oh! those sacred pools of subtle pastel puddles as the miracle of wildflowers onnce again seduce both acolytes and pollinators for yet another late season of spring.
Stunning! That last picture...I performed a marriage ceremony on the edge of that cliff in 50 mph winds! Gorgeous pic!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos. Love what you're doing Ketz. Thank you... Judith
ReplyDeleteAh - as beautiful as I remember, and more. I miss my Oregon. Thank you.
ReplyDeletezillions of those beautiful purple wildflowers along I-80 in Pennsylvania. 7 hours of watching them and the rain pelting my windshield. I like the Oregon images more....keep going....
